About Swim&Gym Summer Camp

Started in 2003 as a partnership between SwimWest Swim School and Badger Gymnastics Academy, Swim&Gym Summer Camp was created for parents looking for a fun, active, and memorable summer experience for their children. Since that time Swim&Gym has grown into the most popular summer camp in Madison; all weeks were sold out last year!

Though sports play a role in our camp, children don’t need to be athletes to enjoy it. Our objective is to guide and teach every camper according to their ability while making the activities fun and rewarding. Our counselors work hard to coach, educate, and motivate each camper on an individual level. Check out the video to see what a day in the life of our campers is like.

  • Co-ed camp open to children five to thirteen years old.
  • Composed of eleven, one-week sessions (you may sign up for one, multiple, or all sessions).
  • Activities include swimming, gymnastics, field sports, soccer, karate, and more!
  • Each week of camp is built around particular themes, including On Wisconsin, Harry Potter, and Mission Impossible
  • Every week also incorporates a field trip to such places as Busy Barns Adventure Farm, Camp Randall, Dream Castle Park, and Henry Vilas Zoo (full list of locations)
  • We also offer our special Extended Care Program, allowing parents with conflicting schedules to drop off early or pick up late. Contact SwimWest for details.
