Immerse your child in a world of excitement with our themed weeks at camp! Each week is carefully curated to offer a dynamic blend of activities, including 3 swim lessons, open swimming, GaGa Ball, 4 square, soccer, arts & crafts, S.T.E.M., basketball, t-ball, captivating theme-based special guests, and a weekly field trip. Whether the adventure comes to us or we embark on a bus journey, every activity is thoughtfully tailored to cater to your camper’s age and skill level.
Our mission for the summer is to foster essential life skills and lasting friendships through abundant playtime and a wealth of new experiences. While field trips are subject to weather changes or last-minute opportunities, we’re always on the lookout for exciting new adventures to add to our themed weeks. Week 1: Blast off into SUMMER!
June 10 – June 14
Leap into the ultimate summer experience at Swim&Gym! 🌟Get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure as we fly across the Galaxy to the water-filled planet of SwimWest! 🚀✨ Our Field Trip Extravaganza is to Urban Air! Prepare for a day filled with gravity-defying excitement as we bounce, climb, and soar through this dynamic indoor playground with trampolines galore, Ninja Warrior courses, and a climbing wall to conquer. Week 2: Secret Agents in ACTION!!
June 17 – June 21
Embark on an epic journey as you step into the shoes of a spy-in-training! Get ready for an action-packed adventure that will test your skills, agility, and problem-solving abilities. This week is designed to ignite your imagination and transform you into a top-secret operative. Enhance your spy experience with special guest Infinity Martial Arts to help you discover the discipline and focus required to become a true secret agent. You will crack secret codes, and go on a thrilling mission to Governor Dodge State Park. Our expertly designed activities and challenges will push your limits and foster teamwork, critical thinking, and physical fitness. Unlock your inner spy and discover the thrill of being an agent in action! Word of the week: Cooperation
Week 3: Animal Planet
June 24 – June 28
Take off on a Thrilling Safari of Discovery, where the spirit of adventure comes to life. Campers will form teams to conquer thrilling challenges, testing their teamwork, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of the animal kingdom. The excitement doesn’t stop there! A special field trip to Henry Vilas Zoo awaits, where campers will have a Critter Connection interaction. Picture a jungle relay, where teamwork is everything, or engage in solving wildlife puzzles that lead you deeper into the adventure. Capture the essence of the wild in our Creature Capture Challenge and Wild Explorer Adventure. We will also have an exclusive encounter with ZooZort’s fascinating creatures, from wallabies to pythons. Are you ready to race into the wild? Word of the week: Motivation
Week 4: USA! All the WAY!
July 1 – July 3 (3-day week, no camp on July 4th and 5th, prorated)
Get ready for a week filled with fun, adventure, and celebration! Join us for ultimate dodgeball, ‘red, white, and blue’ relay races, capture the flag, and a fireworks freeze dance-off. We will be splish-splashing as we play and take a dip in the SwimWest pool. On Wednesday our older campers 8 – 12 year-olds will travel to a Climbing Gym, and the younger campers 5 – 7 year-olds will be exploring interactive exhibits at the Madison Children’s Museum. Week 5: Pokémon – Gotta Catch Em ALL!
July 8 – July 12
Calling all aspiring Pokemon Trainers! We need you to bring the magical world of Pokémon to life. Get ready to embark on an exciting journey filled with Pokémon battles and exploration. We have an added challenge of Pokémon Go Geocaching Hunt, campers will navigate the terrain, solving clues, and encountering Pokémon challenges along the way. From Pikachu to Charizard, every find brings you one step closer to becoming the ultimate Pokémon Master. This week is full of strategy-building, where we need to use our wits, agility, and teamwork to catch as many Pokémon as possible. We’re rolling into the fun with a strike of excitement! Get ready to bowl over some Pokémon pins at Middleton Sports Bowl. Lace-up your shoes, choose your favorite Pokémon ball, and let’s aim for victory as we embark on a bowling adventure like no other. Week 6: On Wisconsin!

🧀🌾 Explore the Heart of the Dairyland as we take a deep dive into the rich agricultural heritage of our beloved state, offering an experience that blends learning, adventure, and a whole lot of fun! 🚜 Campers will get hands-on experience at Busy Barns Adventure Farm, where they’ll explore the wonders of farm life, interact with animals, and play fun games. 🐄 We will also be visiting Hinchley’s Dairy Farm to be a part of the dairy industry, from milking cows, petting and feeding animals and a hayride! We will end our week with a special treat that captures the essence of our state’s culinary heritage. 🧀 Cheese Curd Delight! Camp Kindness is on Friday and we will be collecting non-perishable food for the local food banks. Word of the week: Responsibility
Week 7: Superheroes Unleashed
July 22 – July 26
Attention all aspiring superheroes! Campers will participate in superhero-themed activities, games, and challenges that promote teamwork, leadership, and self-discovery. Hometown Hero Spotlight: We will be visiting with the brave firefighters and first responders at the Middleton Fire Department. Cool down and unleash your inner superhero powers with a splash-tastic adventure at the Middleton Splash Pad, where water-based challenges and games await. The entire camp will foster a spirit of gratitude by sharing stories and creating thank-you cards for our local heroes. Word of the week: Kindness
Week 8: Hogwarts Express
July 29 – August 2
Calling all Muggle-born Wizards to Swim&Gym to celebrate Harry Potter’s Birthday! Campers will be placed into their houses by the Sorting Hat, playing games of Quidditch, and Dueling in our GaGa Pit. Charms and spells will be seen as we watch a Magic Show from Swim & Gym Wizards! Our special guest, Apple Annie will join us to teach us some magic of our own. We will also create magical potions and your own special wizard wand. All wizards will take a trip to the Enchanted Dream Park in Monona for our very own tri-wizards tournament. Get ready to embark on a magical journey filled with spells, potions, a special treat of Chocolate Frogs and Jumping Jelly Beans, and enchanting adventures. A Harry Potter invitation will be sent to each camper that is preregistered for camp. Word of the week: Enthusiasm
Week 9: Olympic Spirit
August 5 – August 9
The crowd is cheering, your heart is racing, and the time has come to go for the GOLD! We have created our very own Summer Olympics. Test your speed, agility, and teamwork in a variety of events such as relay races, long jumps, and obstacle courses. Dive into the fun as our campers hit the swimming pool for a series of aquatic challenges, from relay races to synchronized swimming, our campers will showcase their aquatic abilities. We will be doing a field trip to Schuster’s Farm on Friday. Parents are invited to the 2024 Summer Olympics on Thursday, starting with an Opening Ceremony of a colorful parade of flags, Olympic music, and the unifying spirit. We will end our week with a Medal Ceremony. Campers will be recognized for their efforts, receiving medals for their performance and sportsmanship. Word of the week: Sportsmanship
Week 10: Ancient World
August 12 – August 16
Dive into a captivating adventure this week as imagination meets exploration! Embark on a journey through time as we transport campers to Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome, and other civilizations long past. The highlight of this week is a field trip to the Madison Geology Museum. Campers will unravel the mysteries of the Earth’s history, encountering fossils, rocks, and artifacts that tell tales of ancient cultures and geological wonders. On Wednesday our campers will be traveling to Cave on the Mounds with expert guides who will lead an interactive tour, providing a hands-on learning experience that will ignite curiosity and foster a deep appreciation for the wonders of our planet’s past. Creativity takes center stage with our theme-filled crafts. From creating Egyptian hieroglyphics to molding dinosaur fossils. Campers will unleash their artistic talents as they bring ancient worlds to life through their unique masterpieces. Join us for a season of exploration, where the past becomes the present, and learning is an adventure in itself! Word of the week: Respect
Week 11: Summer Carnival
August 19 – August 23
Summer Fun, having a BLAST! Campers will spend a full week enjoying an awesome array of summer carnival fun, with wacky water activities including an inflatable water slide, water balloon toss, swimming, and splashing water games. On Friday we will have our very own Summer Camp Carnival where they will play games such as a ping pong ball toss, inflated ring toss, and challenging obstacle courses. No carnival is complete without a dunk tank, and Apple Annie sharing her talents on how to juggle! Come dressed for the beach on Wednesday for our beach party at Devil Lake State Park, where campers will go on a nature walk, build sand castles, and take a cool dip in the lake!
