We are thrilled to officially welcome Kristina Bauer as one of the new owners of Swim&Gym Summer Camp! Kristina brings with her an incredible passion for children, education, and creating meaningful experiences that help kids grow with confidence, both in and out of the pool, at camp as one of the directors, and occasionally jumping in as a counselor.
Kristina was recently honored with the Educator of the Year Award from the United States Swim School Association, a national recognition celebrating outstanding leadership, dedication to child development, and a lifelong commitment to education. This prestigious award reflects what families and colleagues have seen in Kristina for years: a leader who puts children first and inspires those around her to do the same.
As an educator and swim professional, Kristina believes that learning should be fun, engaging, and rooted in confidence-building. Her philosophy aligns perfectly with the heart of Swim&Gym Summer Camp, where campers are encouraged to try new things, stay active, build friendships, and discover what makes them unique.
“I truly believe that camp is one of the most impactful experiences a child can have,” Kristina shares. “Swim&Gym Summer Camp is special because it blends learning, movement, and fun in a way that helps kids build confidence while feeling safe, supported, and celebrated. I’m honored to be part of a team that cares so deeply about every child and family we serve.”
In her new role as owner, Kristina is excited to continue growing Swim&Gym Summer Camp while preserving the traditions families know and love. Her vision includes strengthening safety standards, expanding opportunities for skill-building, and creating memorable experiences that campers will carry with them long after summer ends.
We are incredibly proud to have an award-winning educator helping lead our camp into the future. Please join us in congratulating Kristina Bauer and welcoming her to the Swim&Gym Summer Camp family. We can’t wait for campers and families to experience the impact of her leadership firsthand.
